Ford Opens Office in Riyadh

Ford Motor Company recently announced plans to open a branch office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 


The company made the announcement at a ceremony celebrating the 25th anniversary of Al-Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co. Ltd. (Al-Jazirah), a distributor of Ford and Lincoln cars and trucks in the Kingdom. 


The office is expected to open in the second half of 2012. 


"Ford is the fastest growing automotive brand in Saudi Arabia, with a record 47,000 car and truck sales projected for 2011".

• Luxury segment in UAE exp to hit 9% of TIV at 25 K cars, 32 % jump (16% in 2010)
• Overall TIV exp to jump by 15 % to 273 K cars ( 6% in 2010). 
• TIV exp to grow by a healthy 13 % in 2010

I write this seeing increasing number of cars of higher segments on Mumbai-roads... traffic getting more aggressive & less considerate about others... that is not the spirit of Mumbai
